I’ve been diving into Mekayla Bali’s case, and something that keeps bugging me is her behavior at the Tim Hortons. I mean, why would she sit there and take apart her cellphone? It seems like such an odd thing to do. Was she trying to hide something? Maybe trying to disable a tracking feature or remove a SIM card? Also, the fact that she approached someone for help renting a hotel room just feels so out of character from what her family describes. Part of me wonders if she was meeting someone or if there was some sort of plan she had that involved needing that room. It’s so frustrating trying to piece this together when everything feels like it contradicts her usual behavior. Anyone else have thoughts on why she might have done these things?
