Hey everyone,
I've been following the Amerk Barbarian case for a while and something that's always puzzled me is the timing of when people started noticing he was missing. It seems like crucial time might have been lost if there was a delay in anyone realizing he hadn't been seen since that last interaction with his landlord.
Did anyone in the community recall noticing if the apartment showed signs of anyone coming or going during those days right after May 11, 1988? Maybe neighbors or people living nearby might have picked up on something—like newspapers piling up or uncollected mail—that could give clues about when he actually might have gone missing.
It's a long shot, but sometimes minor details remembered years later can open up new leads. Has anyone come across anything that could hint at how long it took before someone realized something was off?
Thanks!
