Hey everyone, I just came across the case of Sylvain Baril, the guy who went missing back in '99 in Montreal. Have any of you ever thought about the role weather might have played around that time? I did a little digging and found out it was late summer when he vanished. Montréal can have some intense weather transitions during those months. Just thinking out loud here — if he was outside or on foot, maybe weather conditions impacted his ability to communicate or reach out for help? I know it’s reaching a bit, but with so little info, every angle counts, right? Anyone in Montreal remember what the weather was like at that time, or if there were any unusual conditions? I’m curious to see if anything about the environment might have contributed to the challenges in finding him. Thoughts or any similar cases where weather played a factor?
