Hey everyone, I've been following Amanda Sophia Bartlett's case for a while, and one thing that's been bugging me is the role of Child and Family Services (CFS) in all this. I mean, Amanda was just 17 and under their care, but after she left the group home, it seems like they just washed their hands of the situation. I can't help but wonder if there are other cases where CFS didn't follow up after a minor ran away. It's just baffling to me that because she was technically close to adulthood, they pulled back on trying to locate her. Has anyone seen similar patterns with CFS in other cases? Maybe some policy needs revisiting.
