Hey all, I've been thinking about the case of Grayce Baxter and something that puzzles me is the timeline around her disappearance and the pawn shop transaction. Johnson pawned her jewelry on December 21, but she was last seen on December 8. That's quite a gap, right? I find it odd that he waited so long to pawn her belongings, especially since those 13 days might have been enough time to cover his tracks better. Was it sheer arrogance, thinking he wouldn't get caught, or was there something else going on during that period that kept him from acting sooner? Maybe he thought the police wouldn't connect the dots because of her hidden lifestyle? Curious to hear what everyone else thinks might have been the reason for this delay. Could be a missing link in the chain of events.
