I’ve been thinking a lot about the significance of the burned-out car in Mathieu Beauregard’s disappearance. It just seems like such a bold move if it was meant to be a cover-up or distraction. Why torch the car and then just leave it there? Was it meant to send a message, or was it purely out of desperation to hide evidence? It’s like the person or people involved weren’t concerned about being discreet, which strikes me as either incredibly brazen or incredibly careless. I wonder if there have been any forensic breakthroughs from the car, even if it was incinerated. It’s hard not to speculate about what traces might still exist despite the fire. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
