I recently came across the case of Karl Heinz Behr and something that keeps bugging me is the green parka and winter boots missing from his home. It's puzzling because it suggests he was planning to be outside for a while, but as far as we know, Karl was heading straight home that night. If he was just driving home, why would he be prepared for an extended outing in the cold? I've been wondering if Karl perhaps had an unplanned stop on the way home or intended to go somewhere before getting back. Could he have met someone on the way? Or maybe the plan was to meet someone outside, which is why he was so bundled up? It's this sort of contradiction that makes his disappearance so perplexing to me. If anyone has similar cases or theories about what might lead someone to go missing when they seem to have a clear destination, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It just feels like this missing parka and boots could be a key piece in understanding Karl's last movements.
