I've been following Diane Bélanger's case for a while, and something that's been really bugging me is the missing bread knife. It's such a strange detail, right? Supposedly Diane vanished in the night without a struggle, yet the screen door was torn and her purse contents were all over the place. Couldn't that missing knife suggest she might have felt threatened and took it for protection? Or maybe the person who followed her home knew the couple was returning late and planned an ambush? It's just odd that such a specific item is missing and hasn't led anywhere in the investigation. Anyone else have theories about this detail? It's baffling that after so many years such small clues still leave us questioning.
