Hey everyone,
Something I've been wondering about in the case of William Bereziuk is regarding the timing of when his belongings were found. So, these personal items surfaced in May 1975, which is about seven months after he set off. I'm curious if the seasonal changes could have played a role in when and where these belongings were discovered.
Is it possible that the spring thaw and melting snow might have shifted objects along the river that were previously buried or frozen under ice? The timing might suggest movement from higher water levels during the spring melt, which could also mean he wasn't as close to Fort McMurray in October as some might speculate. Just a thought on how nature could influence the clues we find and where they end up. Anyone familiar with environmental effects on search and recovery efforts who could provide some insight?
