Does anyone else find it odd that Roger Bertrand left behind his leg brace and cane? It's been bothering me how he just vanished without them. For someone who relied so heavily on these for mobility, it doesn't make much sense. It's almost like something urgent happened, forcing him to leave in a hurry. Could someone have confronted him at his home or maybe lured him out with a promise of safety or help? It's hard to think he would voluntarily leave without the things that made getting around possible. Also curious how no one saw anything on such a busy road in the late morning. Thoughts on any local rumors from that time or theories that could explain this?
