I’ve been reading up on Melissa Blais’ case, and something that’s been on my mind is the timing around her last sighting. It’s so eerie to think about those final moments when she left the bar at 2:15 a.m. It was the time when most people start heading home, thinking about calling it a night. How can someone just vanish into thin air right then? I know the police mentioned the possibility of an accident, but wouldn't there at least be some signs of her car if that were the case? It’s also striking that Louiseville isn’t exactly a sprawling metropolis. You’d think someone might have seen or heard something. Has anyone deep-dived into the surveillance footage from nearby businesses or street cameras from that night? I haven’t seen anything about that, but it seems like something that might’ve been a possibility to catch even a little clue. What do you all think about this aspect? It bugs me how, despite all the best efforts, nothing turned up.
