Andrew T. Noriega, 34, was shot and killed outside Barrington’s Pub near Main Street and Trekell Road in Casa Grande in the early morning hours of October 16, 2016. Officers responded after gunfire was reported about 12:30 a.m. and found Noriega with a gunshot wound to his upper torso; he was taken to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
Family remembered Noriega as a Christian who enjoyed music, dancing, and time with loved ones. He worked as a delivery driver in Phoenix, was described as a hard worker pursuing education, and was mourned as a father, son, and brother. The Casa Grande Police Department arrested 26-year-old Trelayne Hampton in connection with the shooting; Hampton was charged with second-degree murder and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.
Was anyone at Barrington’s Pub that night willing to come forward with information that could clarify what led to the altercation?
