David Harry Bleaney, 46, disappeared from Charleston, West Virginia in the summer of 1975. The last confirmed contact was August 1, 1975; he lived on Scraggs Drive and failed to appear at a scheduled court date in September. Friends and family described him as dependable and routine, making his sudden absence out of character.
Physically he was a white male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, about 180 to 190 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a noticeable limp. He was known to wear black dress pants, a white shirt, a belt and dress shoes. The disappearance produced very few leads, and no further confirmed sightings or contact have been reported.
Does anyone from Charleston in 1975 remember David or have information about his movements after August 1?
