Bruce Charles Blimkie was 29 when he disappeared on January 5, 1991. He left the Riverview Inn in Norway Bay, Quebec, and was heading home to Arnprior, Ontario, by snowmobile across the frozen Ottawa River. He is described as medium build, 5 feet 10 inches, with brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a yellow and black nylon jacket.
Investigators and family believe his snowmobile went through an area of open water on the river and that he drowned, but neither Bruce nor the machine were recovered despite searches. His case remains open and unresolved, leaving his family without closure.
Did anyone in the Arnprior or Norway Bay area see a yellow and black-jacketed rider on January 5, 1991, or have information that could help locate Bruce or his snowmobile?
