Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the disappearance of Iyan Ward Brertton pretty closely, and one aspect I can't stop thinking about is the timeframe between his last known contact in April 2024 and when he was reported missing in January 2025. That's such a significant gap, and I'm curious if anyone else thinks there might be key insights in that period.
I understand the family reported him quite a bit later, which might not be uncommon, but it really makes me wonder about what interactions he might’ve had in those months. Was he laying low, or was there any reason he might have been in a different area altogether?
I know the Edmonton police are doing what they can, but maybe someone in the community could recall seeing him during that time. He often used public transit and was seen around shelters, so perhaps someone there might have details that could help. If anyone has ideas about how to raise more awareness during that period or get more eyes on this, I’d love to hear them. Let's keep pushing to get his story widespread!
