I came across Janette Brunet's case and something really caught my eye about the pendant that was found. It's such a small, personal item, yet it seems to have played a significant role in the investigation. The fact that the clasp was broken suggests there might have been a struggle or a hurried departure. But what puzzles me is why it would have been left behind. Does this mean something happened right there in the parking lot? Could someone have taken it off during an altercation, or maybe it fell off during a scuffle? Also, it’s strange how the man she was last seen with has never been identified, despite witnesses. Has anyone seen other cases where personal items missing their owners turned up later and had a major impact on solving the case? I just wonder if this pendant could hold any clues or if it’s simply a tragic reminder of her disappearance.
