Hey everyone,
I've been diving deep into the details surrounding Maggie Lea Burke's disappearance, and something that's been bothering me is the timing of that phone call she got on December 9th, 2004. It seems so crucial, yet there's barely any info about it. Does anyone else think it might have been pre-planned or maybe someone she trusted? If she just got up and told her roommates she'd be right back, it seems like she wasn’t expecting any trouble.
I also read that her case only got a public alert from the police five months later. It’s frustrating to think about the lost time and how that might have impacted the investigation. What’s everyone’s take on this? Could there have been a missed opportunity early on that might have changed the course of her case?
If anyone's local to that area or remembers anything around the time, even the smallest detail could be helpful. Here's to not giving up on Maggie and hoping for some long-awaited answers.
Stay safe out there,
