Gregory Caesar, also known as Gregg Hrenyk, was 38 when he was last seen near Watson Lake, Yukon on October 20, 2009. He was hitchhiking south on the Alaska Highway, reportedly bound for friends in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Gregory is an Indigenous man, 5 feet 3 inches, about 119 pounds, with black brush-cut hair, brown eyes and a scar near his mouth.
He had a history of disappearing for periods without contacting family and had spent time in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. There are no confirmed records of his dental, fingerprint or DNA information on file, and what he was wearing or carrying on October 20 is unknown. The Watson Lake RCMP remain the primary investigators and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Did anyone in the Watson Lake or Alaska Highway area remember picking up or seeing someone matching his description that October?
