I've been following the Charlie Joseph Campbell case, and one thing that always strikes me is how little we know about the search efforts that took place back in 1988. Has anyone come across any information about who was involved in those initial searches or how they were conducted? It's been over 30 years, and while public records seem sparse, local volunteers or community groups may have played a role that just didn't get documented. I'm hoping someone from the Red Lake area or with ties to it might have some personal insights or even family stories handed down about what those early days were like. Sometimes those old narratives can contain clues or details that were never officially recorded. Would love to hear from anyone who might have a lead or just thoughts on why so little seems to have been captured in public records. Let's keep this conversation going and see if we can piece together some of the puzzle.
