I’ve been digging into Marguerite Cardwell’s case, and I noticed something curious about the location where her car was abandoned. Dead Man's Flats, right? That place has a reputation for being kinda eerie. I wonder if Marguerite had any connection or reason to stop there specifically. Was there something about that area which meant something to her? Did she plan to meet someone, or was it just a convenient spot due to its isolation?
The timing of the car being found is also strange. Her vehicle was spotted just days after her last known conversation, but with no sign of Marguerite or the rifle, it's like she vanished into thin air. Was it intentional for her to leave her belongings in the car, or was she interrupted? There's an unsettling element here; no one just leaves their keys and purse behind unless they know they're coming back—or they’re prevented from returning.
Has anyone else researched other incidents in that area from around the same timeline? Maybe something similar happened that went unnoticed or unconnected. There’s definitely more to explore in terms of the surroundings and the possible connections she may have had in those communities she was considering visiting. If anyone has access to local archives or newspaper clippings from that period, it might help peel back another layer of this perplexing case.
