Has anyone else looked into the regional activities or events around Montague Township and Smiths Falls during May 1975? I’ve been digging into newspaper archives and found that there was a local fair happening around the same time James Clarke disappeared. It's a long shot, but I wonder if there were any incidents or sightings reported in the vicinity of the fairgrounds that might have been overlooked at the time. Such events tend to draw crowds, including those who might not be locals, and with so many people around, it's possible someone could have seen something relevant. If anyone has access to more detailed local archives or eyewitness reports from that time, it could be worth examining further. The timing seems too coincidental to ignore, and maybe it could provide some new leads or insights. Let's keep digging!
