Ashley Collins, 34, disappeared from a rural property near Drayton Valley, Alberta, in the early morning hours of June 17, 2020. She was last seen on Range Road 83 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., leaving a residence on foot while carrying garbage bags filled with a large quantity of her clothing — described as enough to fill a queen-sized closet. She also used the name Ashley Fricke.
A mother of five, Collins is described as a Caucasian woman, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with medium-length dark brunette hair and brown eyes. Distinguishing marks include a diamond nose piercing, a right eyebrow ring, a tattoo of a child’s drawing on her left forearm, and another tattoo on her right arm. Family members expressed concern because she is diabetic and was believed to be living a high-risk lifestyle at the time. There were early unconfirmed suggestions she might have travelled to Camrose or British Columbia, including Kelowna, but her sister has said she doubts Ashley would voluntarily leave her children.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Drayton Valley opened an investigation; it remains active with no significant public updates. Does anyone who knew Ashley or was in the Drayton Valley, Camrose or Kelowna areas in June 2020 have information that could help?
