Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Mary Ann Copeman’s case, and I came across something interesting while poking through old news articles and community stories. Apparently, there was a report from someone who claimed they saw a woman matching Mary Ann’s description near the old abandoned lodge outside of Balmertown shortly after she disappeared. This lead seemed to have been investigated, but nothing concrete came out of it. The lodge had become a bit of a local legend by then—a spooky place that some kids dared each other to explore. My question is, has anyone considered organizing another search or even a drone survey around that area? With technology today, it might offer a fresh perspective. Sometimes local legends and odd places hold more truth than we expect! Just a thought. Would love to hear others' opinions or if anyone else has heard similar stories.
