Hey everyone,
I've been digging around a bit into Keith Louis Cromwell's case, and something that's been gnawing at me is the lack of detail about the weather conditions on the day he went missing. Given that he was boating from Quarry Island to Fog Island, I'm really curious if anyone has come across records or personal accounts regarding the weather on July 23, 1979. It seems like such a crucial aspect since adverse weather could have easily influenced his journey.
Lake of the Woods can be unpredictable, and if a storm rolled in unexpectedly, it might have led to a mishap. I've tried searching old newspapers and any available meteorological records from that period but haven't had much luck. If anyone here has stumbled upon anything related to weather patterns or local testimonies about that day, it could shed some light on what might have happened to Cromwell.
Hoping we can piece this together and figure out if the elements played a part in his disappearance. Thanks!
