I've been digging into Allan Curtis's case lately, and one thing that stands out to me is the whole scenario around his belongings. On the day he went missing, it's noted he had a pretty specific set of items with him: a blue piece of luggage, a green backpack, a metal box, and a tent. Now, here's what's puzzling me—if Allan had intentions of returning to British Columbia, why carry a tent? Was he planning to camp along the way or make a detour? It seems odd considering he was supposed to catch a flight, and carrying a tent implies a bit more spontaneity or some plan that wasn't mentioned. Also, those items could have been quite noticeable if he was seen anywhere after leaving his uncle's. Has anyone looked into whether items like these were found anywhere between his uncle's place and the airport? I'm curious if there's any unreported sighting of Allan with these items that might give clues about what he was thinking or where he might have gone. Thoughts, anyone?
