Seeing as how we've had so many different takes on Licelia DCOSTA’s disappearance, I wanted to throw in a new angle. Has anyone ever looked into the weather patterns around the time she went missing? Winter in Toronto can be pretty brutal, and if she was planning a trip to Ottawa, it makes me wonder how prepared she really was for that travel. It was 1976, so I’m guessing they didn't have the kind of real-time information we have today.
Did anyone ever check if there were any weather-related incidents on the highways between Toronto and Ottawa during those late winter months? I'm not saying that’s what happened, but it's always bugged me that the weather could play an unaccounted-for role. Longshot, but worth digging into, maybe someone with access to historical weather data or traffic reports from that period can add another layer to this mystery. Thoughts?
