I’ve been thinking about the gap in the timeline for when Mackenzie was last known to be in contact with his family. It's so strange, right? Reportedly, they last heard from him in January 2018, but the database lists his missing date as November 1, 2017. It’s not unheard of for there to be delays in reporting missing persons, but what was happening in that gap period? If the family had contact until January, why is November marked as the missing date?
Could this indicate a separate investigation finding something that hasn’t been released yet? Or perhaps there was an unofficial contact, like maybe someone else heard from him during that time? Just seems like this is such a crucial aspect of the timeline that could yield more clues. Would love to hear if anyone else has insights or similar cases where a delay like this was significant. It just seems like a critical puzzle piece.
