Has anyone delved into the weather conditions on the night of September 11 or early morning of September 12, 1987, when Ricky Dechaine and Guy Labreche vanished? It's bothering me that there's no mention of what the weather was like during the flight. I've looked through the historical weather data for Ontario, and the conditions around that time could have contributed to their disappearance. Northwestern Ontario's vast and rugged terrain, combined with unpredictable weather, could have posed a serious risk for small aircraft, particularly with dense fog or storms rolling in unexpectedly. Considering that there's no record of a distress call or mechanical issues, could it be possible that sudden weather changes played a role in whatever happened to them? If anyone has insight into weather reports from that time or similar aviation incidents in the area, please share. This piece of the puzzle seems significant to me.
