Hey everyone, I've been diving into old cases, and one that's really caught my attention is Howard Dobie's disappearance from 1982. I know there are a lot of threads dissecting the timeline, mental health aspects, etc., but I'm curious about something a bit different. Has anyone looked into any potential sightings or leads in areas outside of Montreal? It seems like the search was heavily focused in that region, but I'm wondering if there was any media coverage or even a whisper of a sighting in other cities around that time? Sometimes people just want to get away and start fresh, ya know? It might be a long shot, but maybe revisiting regional media archives or talking to folks who traveled around Canada back then could spark something new. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or if you've come across anything in that regard.
