Roman Drag vanished in the early hours of May 23, 2011, while night fishing with a friend at the top of the Bassano Dam on the Bow River in Bassano, Alberta. He was described as a middle-aged man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 154 pounds. Search teams recovered his black jacket, fishing gear, and a pair of glasses at the scene, but Roman himself was never found.

Authorities classified the disappearance as a suspected accident and believe drowning while fishing in the dark is the most likely explanation. Despite searches, no trace of him has been located, and the Bow River remains the last known location connected to his case.

If anyone was in the Bassano Dam area on the night of May 23, 2011, or has information about Roman’s activities or movements around that time, please come forward with what you know.
