Hey everyone, I have been going down the rabbit hole on the Lois Dunlavy case out of Toronto. Something that's been bugging me: how does someone just disappear from a hospital? I've read a few cases where people walk out of hospitals without anyone noticing, but it still seems so odd. Even more so, Lois had apparently seen a physician just before she went missing—how is there no trace of where she could have gone in such a short window? I know hospitals can be chaotic, especially on busy afternoons, but one would think they'd have some form of security or visitor logs, even back in '93. Has anyone looked into the layout of Scarborough General back then? Could there have been a way she left unnoticed, or is it possible someone with less-than-good intentions might have helped her leave? It's all speculation, I know, but it eats at me that someone could disappear like that in a place meant to provide care. This case feels like one of those cold cases that needs fresh eyes. If anyone has insights into hospital procedures from that time or similar cases, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It might be a long shot, but sometimes thinking outside the box can connect a missing piece.
