Robert Joseph Dwyer was 26 when he was last seen leaving his home in the Keirstead Trailer Park on the west side of Saint John, New Brunswick, on March 10, 1984. He was described as 5 feet 9 inches, about 159 pounds, with long blond hair, blue eyes and noticeable tooth decay. That day he wore brown Kodiak work boots, brown corduroy pants and a grey bomber-style jacket with a dark grey corduroy front.
Reports say there were no immediate signs of foul play and no clear reason for his disappearance; his absence was out of character and prompted growing concern as days passed. The circumstances of his departure from the trailer park remain unclear, and no explanation for his long absence has emerged.
Does anyone who lived in Saint John in 1984 or who knew Robert remember seeing him around March 10, 1984, or have information that could help explain what happened?
