I’ve been following the case of Charles Leigh Eddy and something that keeps nagging at me is the brown leather satchel he was carrying when he left. Has anyone been able to ascertain what might have been in there? It feels like the contents could potentially offer clues. Given that it was such a distinct item and he was known to carry large sums of money, I'm curious if the satchel was ever recovered or if anyone has come forward with information about it. It seems like whatever was inside that bag might tell us more about his intentions when he left on that fateful day. I've read theories and speculations, but has anyone gotten any solid information about the satchel?
