Hey everyone, I’ve been following Amber Ellis's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the reward offered by the Government of Ontario. Offering $50,000 for info leading to an arrest seems like they're really pushing for answers. But it's been over two years, and I wonder if that amount is enough to motivate someone who might be scared or hesitant to come forward. Do rewards sometimes go unclaimed because of fear or distrust in authorities? I get that money can't replace a life or even really ease the pain Amber's family is going through, but could raising the reward make a difference or would it just complicate things more? Curious to hear your thoughts or if you’ve seen similar cases where a boost in the reward led to new leads.
