Victor Falk, 77, was last seen in Rosthern, Saskatchewan on the evening of August 14, 2018. He was dropped off at his residence about 6:30 p.m. and appeared aware of his surroundings then. Victor is five feet seven inches tall, about 178 pounds, wears glasses (and may have had large sunglasses over them), and was possibly wearing a long-sleeved plaid shirt, a blue and white hat, and dark pants. He did not have a vehicle and was known to frequent Rosthern and nearby Waldheim.
Victor had a medical condition that can cause confusion and mood changes, and he had a history of wandering, which raised immediate safety concerns. The community and RCMP conducted extensive searches, including local search and rescue teams and checks of properties, abandoned buildings and vehicles; after nearly five days the official search was temporarily called off. The RCMP has kept the case open and the family reports no contact since that August evening.
If anyone in the Rosthern or Waldheim areas saw Victor around August 14, 2018, or has information about his possible movements since then, please come forward.
