Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Barry Rocky Fiddler, who disappeared back in 1975. Something that struck me as peculiar is the sighting of him at the Thunderchild First Nation Powwow. It's quite a distance from his home, about 200 kilometers, and I can't help but wonder how a 14-year-old managed to travel that far alone. Did he hitchhike, or did someone offer him a ride? Also, it's a pretty big event that draws quite a few people. Did he meet someone there who he knew, or was he trying to connect with someone? It's baffling and sad that despite this confirmed sighting, nothing was found out about his journey or what happened afterward. Local events like powwows are usually tight-knit gatherings with a strong sense of community. Isn't it strange that no further leads were developed from this? If anyone's familiar with the area or has ideas about how travel between these locations might have happened during that time, I'd love to hear your thoughts. This case really tugs at me, and any insight or discussion could help keep Barry's story alive. Thanks!
