Hey everyone,
I've been diving a bit deeper into Darren Fortier's case lately, and something that's been on my mind is the timing with the legal dispute over his accident settlement. Given that Darren's mom was battling with the ICBC about the settlement, does anyone else think there might be more to this angle? It seems like it could've added a lot of stress or pressure on Darren or his family right around the time he went missing. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's been nagging at me.
Also, I'm curious if anyone knows how common it is for insurance companies to push for someone to be declared legally dead like that. Could that have influenced any part of the investigation, or is it more likely just a procedural thing?
Sending support to Darren’s family and hoping one day these mysteries see some resolution.
