Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the note Steve left behind before he disappeared. It's such a small detail but seems pretty significant given how things unfolded. The fact that he wrote he'd be gone for just the weekend makes me wonder about his state of mind at the time. Was he actually planning on coming back? Or was it a way to throw off suspicion about his real intentions? Maybe even an attempt to shield his parents from worry, thinking he'd be back before they'd notice anything was amiss? I also can't stop thinking about how quickly things escalated: from leaving a simple note to his car being found burned. It's like he vanished into thin air with just that note as a breadcrumb. I'm curious if they ever looked into handwriting analysis or tried to match it with other notes he might have written in the past. Could there be any clue hidden in the way he wrote it? Anyone else find it odd that his note was the last piece of communication?
