Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a thought on the disappearance of Carl John Gallen back in '75. I've been digging into old projects like the Long Spruce Dam, and there's something that I can't quite shake off. The missing safety equipment, particularly the life jacket and harness—it's puzzling, isn't it? I understand that construction standards might have been different back then, but could there have been miscommunication regarding safety protocols, or maybe a shortage of gear? Obviously, we can't change the past, but examining these factors might help prevent similar incidents in future sites.
