Hi everyone, I've been diving deeper into Jean Garnek's disappearance and something that strikes me as odd is how there were absolutely no witnesses who spotted anything unusual the day she disappeared. Given that Jean was so independent and regularly used the Winnipeg Transit System, it seems strange that no one on the bus or at the stations reported seeing her that day. You'd think someone would remember an elderly woman, especially one who was so well-known in her community, right? Has anyone looked into the possibility of reviewing old transit footage or speaking to folks who used those routes regularly back then? Even though so much time has passed, it might be worth seeing if any longtime residents have memories jogged by recent discussions. It's these little details that might lead to a breakthrough, as unlikely as it might seem. Thoughts?
