Nadine Lussier was 30 when she and her 33-year-old partner, Dominic Gauthier, were last seen on June 16, 2004. The couple finished a shift at a convenience store in Sainte-Sophie that evening, then drove about 30 minutes to a restaurant in Prévost, which is the last confirmed place they were reportedly seen. Two days passed before Dominic’s mother reported them missing on June 18 and police began a search.

Investigators found Nadine’s truck abandoned in the restaurant parking lot, but it yielded no clear clues. A TVA Nouvelles report later mentioned an unconfirmed note allegedly left in the truck reading on est partis (we left); police have not confirmed that note or its origin. Friends and family said the couple had strong relationships and no obvious reason to vanish, leaving open whether they left voluntarily or met with foul play. The vehicle’s presence suggests they may have left in another car, but who that would be and under what circumstances is unknown.

Anyone who knew Nadine or Dominic, or who saw them in Prévost on June 16, 2004, is asked to come forward with information.
