William Alexander Grange, a 67-year-old retired lawyer from Napanee, Ontario, disappeared from the Cambridge Beaches Resort in Sandys parish, Bermuda, on the late evening of May 2, 2014. He went for a short walk on resort property at about 10 p.m. and was last seen wearing beige pants, a blue shirt, a brown jacket, and brown shoes. He was 5 feet 9 inches with white hair and had short-term memory loss and a seizure condition requiring daily medication.
The Bermuda Police Service treated the case as a critical priority. Land and marine searches covered the island and involved police, the Bermuda Regiment, K-9 teams, volunteer divers, a remote-controlled mini helicopter and hundreds of civilian volunteers. Family members, including his son John, traveled to Bermuda and took part in searches and public appeals. The official search was discontinued on July 1, 2014, and despite a few unconfirmed sightings no trace was found. In November 2021 an Ontario court granted the family a declaration of death.
Did anyone stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort in early May 2014 or search properties nearby who can share observations from that time?
