Randall Russell Gunning, born April 15, 1950, was last seen on May 5, 1984, in the area of Elliot Lake, Northern Ontario. He was 34 at the time and struggling with depression. His disappearance began a long unanswered question for those who may have known him.
Gunning is described as a Caucasian male, about five feet eight inches and 160 pounds, with long straight brown hair, a beard and a moustache, brown eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a red and black hunting-style jacket and jeans. The Ontario Provincial Police East Algoma Detachment is listed as the agency involved. Some believed his depression might have led him to consider taking his own life, but no further evidence or contact has been reported.
If anyone knew Randall, saw him in Elliott Lake around May 5, 1984, or has information about his whereabouts, please share what is known.
