Hey everyone, I came across Angela Hartmann's case recently and something that piqued my interest is the route she might have taken while hitchhiking. Back in the 80s, a lot of people hitched rides between cities, and it wasn’t uncommon. I wonder if there are any truckers or regular drivers from that era who traveled between Calgary and Ottawa who might remember picking up a young woman traveling solo? It’s a long shot, but since hitchhiking was more common then, maybe there’s someone who recalls something significant. It's been so many years, but stranger things have happened in cold cases and sometimes fresh perspectives help. Curious what others think or if there are resources dedicated to reaching out to people who were on those roads back then. Any ideas on how to dig into this angle would be appreciated.
