Thelma Elaine Haskins was 56 when she was last seen in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, on April 6, 1982. A Meals on Wheels volunteer found no answer at her home on April 7 and police discovered the house empty with no signs of a struggle. Thelma was described as slender with short, greying black hair and was believed to have been wearing a beige 3/4 length coat when last seen.

Lynn Lake RCMP interviewed friends, acquaintances and local businesses she frequented, and organized extensive ground searches in the trails and wilderness around town. Those efforts turned up no clues to her whereabouts and no evidence of foul play has been reported. The investigation remains open and her disappearance has gone cold.

If anyone knew Thelma, remembered her routines in Lynn Lake, or has information about where she might have gone after April 6, 1982, please come forward.
