I've been following the Claude Houle case for a while, and something that's always intrigued me is the role the Laviolette Bridge might have played. I find it so chilling that the last known sighting was potentially someone falling from such a significant structure. Bridges, especially ones like Laviolette over the powerful St. Lawrence River, can be both intimidating and isolating spots. I often wonder about the circumstances leading up to that moment. Was it a place he visited frequently, or was that day an anomaly? Also, local traffic and pedestrians must have made it challenging to pinpoint exactly what happened. I'd imagine the view at that height is breathtaking, but on a day like that, it could've been eerily quiet despite the cars. It makes me wonder about what might have been going through Claude's mind or even the perspective of any potential witness from the ground level. Such an open, yet isolating place seems like both a puzzle and a focal point in this haunting case.
