Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Rachid Ali Jalifi, the Canadian man who went missing in Guadalajara, Mexico, back in 2019. Something that's been on my mind is the fact that his phone was disconnected abruptly after his last contact with his family in late July. It just seems really strange to me. I'm curious if anyone has theories on why his phone was cut off so suddenly. In similar cases, this kind of thing can indicate foul play or an intentional move to cut off communication for some reason. Given that he was involved in ongoing investigations back in BC, do you think it's possible someone wanted him out of the picture? Or could he have planned to go underground himself? I feel for his family—this whole situation must be incredibly difficult with so many loose ends and unanswered questions. It's frustrating that the details aren't more transparent due to privacy regulations. Just wondering what others think about the phone situation and if it might offer any clues or lend insight into his disappearance.
