I've been fascinated by the case of Kathleen Grace Johnston, and I've been digging into the transit routes she might've taken that day in 1953. Something that really puzzles me is the timing of her bus ride. She was seen at 2:15 p.m. boarding the bus after seeing her mom, but did anyone ever confirm the exact time she got off, beyond the general "afternoon" timeframe? Bus schedules from back then must be hard to pin down, but it might help figure out if she made any stops along the way or how much time she had to disappear. If the ride wasn't too long, did the driver or any passengers recall anything odd or any other passengers getting off at the same time? There's a narrow window of time that could be crucial. Would be super interesting to know if anyone out there has come across more precise details about the bus timetable or any bus-related witness statements from back then.
