Hey everyone, I’ve been following Lori Lee Kasprick's case, and something has been on my mind regarding that Christmas call in 1976. She told her family she was working as a model in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. To me, that sounds peculiar. Back in the '70s, it wasn't exactly easy to just up and start a modeling career, especially for someone as young as Lori. Did she have any connections in Lake Tahoe, or someone who could have enticed her there with promises of modeling work? It just seems strange that she would be traveling so far at that age and end up there. Were modeling scams a thing back then? Anyone have ideas or heard about similar situations during that time? It's baffling that after all these years, that phone call is still one of the last pieces of “news” her family got.
