Has anyone else been thinking about the timing of John's last known sighting? May 22nd, 1994, was right before the start of the summer season in Vancouver, which is a busy time with lots of tourists and seasonal workers coming and going. I can't help but wonder if the increased foot traffic might have played a role in how he got lost in the crowd or possibly encountered someone who led him astray. Given John's transient lifestyle, it wouldn't have been unusual for him to blend into the bustling scene, making it harder for anyone to notice he was missing right away. Plus, if he was frequently hopping on trains, the flow of travelers might've been an opportunity or, unfortunately, a vulnerability. It's just so frustrating that these little details never seemed to lead anywhere concrete. Would love to hear others' thoughts on how seasonal trends might have impacted his case!
